AUDIENCE

Anyone who wants to be more involved in their workplace by learning how to form, develop and communicate points of view to draw in those around them. INVOLVE is a defined process that seeks ideas and opinions in a way that creates two way participation.

OVERVIEW

INVOLVE is one of the key elements that increases employee engagement. Employees describe it as "the feeling that my opinions matter and make a difference." When people feel like active participants, they act with more freedom and stop "following orders." They feel their work can make a difference, so they try to!

BUSINESS OUTCOMES

  • Learn how to develop the four levels of involvement; personal, team, department and organization
  • Learn why involvement is a "two-way" street that requires senior leadership to communicate business purpose, strategy, goals and results, while also incorporating employee collaboration and information
  • Learn the key questions and answers that must flow between the organization and the individual to improve engagement; "Do I have visibility and awareness into our business?" "Do I contribute to purposes and goals?" "Do I have knowledge and tools to take care of customers?"

DELIVERY

This program may be delivered within the instructor led online module in a stand alone approach or, in a blended approach which includes the online module combined with onsite learning by one of our instructors.

Online: Approximately 10-15 hours of online learning delivered over a 2 week period
Blended: Online learning + 8 or 16 hours Face to face delivered over 1, 2 or 3 day sessions

REINFORCEMENT

This development class includes proven ways to transfer learning, knowledge and skills to the workplace. Enhanced coaching, reinforcement tools and processes are also available.
